Wonderful park, beautiful weather, and a great group of people--thanks to these elements, and Liz's excellent organization, everything came together on this event. We all talked about a wide range of topics on the hike and I learned a lot about the flora and fauna from the many knowledgeable people in our group. In addition to catching the popular spots in the park, Liz took us off the beaten path to some quieter and more secluded points which had interesting trees and flowers of their own. The day had a good bit of serendipity as well--the many small frogs in the pond entertained us and everyone who saw them with their hijinks.  ~Ben S.
